| Community

The emlix team has yet again made several contributions to open source projects in the last few months, fixing problems and improving code.

Besides the already announced contributions to CMocka there have been a variety of other open source activities at emlix.

As part of a Hackathon project around sechat-rs, a TUI client for Nexcloud talk, the tui-logger crate got format options for file logging. Also toml-example now supports default values containing # characters.

During work on crinit a regression between re2c versions 3 and 4 was found and reported upstream, where it was fixed within hours.

When trying to build the docker images of labgrid a problem was found when docker buildx is not installed.

When the list of CMake contributors was reformatted some entries got a 'mailto:' prefix where it made no sense. This was quickly fixed by upstream after being reported.

The STI DRM driver of the Linux Kernel no longer adds the same object twice.

The security advirories of the Linux kernel have received 111 correction patches to the version numbers. Additionally close collaboration with upstream has resulted in other corrections of version information and to improved upstream tooling.
