When building a recipe based on a git repository with additional patches on top caused changing localversion information in Yocto. A fix has been
developed and integrated into meta-freescale and meta-tq. 

When switching the upstream source of a mirrored repository in a local GitLab instance the stale error information of the old source is still shown
for the new source. 

A missing bugfix backport to the 4.19 stable branch of the Linux kernel has been identified and is now included in version 4.19.304 and later.
