As already announced separately, an extension to the cmocka unit testing framework has been sent upstream to add additional test annotations. 

A regression sneaked into mtd-utils 2.1.6, which resulted in the wrong ar binary being used. After the report, it has been fixed within hours. 

The Bitbake style checker oelint-adv caused warnings for multiline assignments, and has been changed to avoid them. Additionally warnings on
package groups and images have been reduced.
